In real life, designers are often problem solvers. It could be
a social problem or an environmental problem. We designers have the power to change people’s views. A thesis is a great opportunity for students to test their design abilities before reaching out to the job market and entering the workforce, to develop something they really care about and that just may change the world.

More than 200 years after the independence of America, the U.S. industry still depends heavily on foreign oil. There are more than 1.4 Million households in America, only around 2% of energy is generated by solar. People don’t know the
benefit of going solar, affordable equipment is hard to find, and

there are industrial people who is trying to harm the solar industry. We need to change that.
